      I cook. I have a little lab in my kitchen with some scientific equipment, so even when I am cooking, I am doing science! My boyfriend has had to try some pretty whacky stuff for dinner over the years!

      At the weekend I made a model of an internal combustion engine with my daughter. It was great! Right now she’s nagging me to go and watch “The Genius of Invention” with her. More generally, my favourite free time activity is walking in the countryside with my children.

      For the last week it has been answering these questions!
      Usually I do lots of different things, I love walking and cycling, I fix my house and cars when necessary, I watch some TV and listen to music, socialise with friends and family.
