@joanna. Physics. Knowledge such as facts is just knowledge, and is easily forgotten, but real understanding – that you never forget. And physics is real understanding of how the world behaves. (I did food science at university and am now a chemical engineer as well as a food scientist, but if I had my time again, I’d probably do physics.)
(That being said, when I read Bill Bryson’s book “A Short History of Nearly Everything”, I was struck by what an interesting and widely relevant subject geology is!)

      Hi Joanna,
Chemistry! I love how it explain everything from the very small DNA to the biggest like food. At school, I used to found it difficult but now that I used it for my everyday job it much easier to understand and very fun.

Pretty science! Much of what I do involves growing bugs that all look kind of brown, so when I do things that change their colour it is great.

Chemistry. I find it so satisfying how everything always matches up. And I must admit, I do love drawing a molecule.
