@lilly. Thanks for your question. I once ate a snail, when I was 15, in New Caledonia. I have to confess, it went down so quickly I didn’t even taste it, but I quite like telling my kids I ate a snail.

The weirdest food I ever tried is when I went to a restaurant doing molecular cuisine. Using a deep understanding of science, cooks can make for example sphere very gelatinous but that taste like meat or foam that taste like carrots it is very impressive but much prefer the natural version!
One of my friends bought back some ‘sweets’ from Japan. They were blue, a really odd texture (a bit like….. well nothing I’d ever had before!) and tasted of dried fish.

Very interesting wierd foods. Mine are sweets from Hong Kong. Very odd texture but a disgusting taste!
