      At times it was quite frustrating – trying to carry out a scientific experiment on a potato is surprisingly hard, because each potato is very different from another one. I did get to freeze them in liquid nitrogen and place them in red oil, and then measure the amount if oil they had taken up using UV light, all of which was quite cool! The results were interesting, but it was the challenges of designing the experiment that was the most intriguing.
