I have always been fascinated by Forensic science, and working in a crime lab – it sounds so exciting! However, I think they make it seem a bit more glamorous on TV than it really is.

Electronics – I’d love to be able to make electronic gadgets. I’d also apply my knowledge of electronics to solar power, as energy is already a big issue and going to get bigger, and getting our energy directly from the sun is our best bet for meeting our energy needs. (Although not so easy in Britain – easier in the Sahara Desert, but not such a nice place to work!)

Psychology! I think how people think and behave very interesting. However it is not a definite science like chemistry, there is not always any logic and it is difficult to research and to be sure of your experiment conclusion so I am happier doing food chemistry!
