I’ve done loads of school visits and activities, and I thought I’d like to try something a bit different. This competition gives me the chance to ‘talk’ to a lot of other children without having to leave the comfort of my office!

I’ve been amazed at the number and range of the questions – the chats are frantic! You have no time to think and you need to type so quickly – I get a real buzz out of it though!

I enjoy talking about food science, and this was a chance to do it in a way that seemed like fun!

I love getting asked questions about food science that I have never thought about. And I am certainly getting those! I also hope that I am helping you all learn by trying to answer them.

I had a few school visiting and had always very interesting question so thought I would take part. And yes so many question it is great! Make you see things differently! Also I think it is important people understand how food is made and why it is this way, now most of you will know how cheese is made, the importance of bubbles…
