I probably use the rotary evaporator most out of all my different bits of equipment. It separates things according to their boiling point and allows you to make chili without the heat, extract the flavour from chocolate without the colour, and make coffee that isn’t bitter. It’s pretty cool!
Cheese grinder! Because cheese need to be grinded to analyse its composition. Then I think a pH meter because it is an important indicator if the cheese is safe and maturing well.
The thing I use almost every day is a pipette. This is a hand held piece of equipment that allows me to transfer very small amounts of a liquid from one tube to another. It has disposable plastic tips to hold the liquid, and these are ejected from the pipette once I’ve finished – after many years of practice I’m pretty good at getting them in the bin from long range!
I use my computer every day to help me make progress in my area of science – that’s my most used piece of equipment. Of my lab equipment, my roller mill and dough mixer are the most used.

Hmm. Thats unusual. I thought it might have been the microscope.

I do use a microscope quite a lot, to look at my bugs, but not everyday.
