Not with my current job, but I have been to some food factories where you have to sign a form to say that you don’t have anything in your possession that is made of nuts.

It depends, when at my desk can bring whatever I want but in the cheese factory I can’t bring any food, jewelery, have nail varnish or anything that could end up in the cheese or get caught in a piece of equipment.

Not really, although we limit who can get into the various labs for safety’s sake. We’re not allowed to eat or drink in our offices since they are too close to the labs we use. We also have a couplr of NMR machines that have really really strong magnets in them and people with heart pacemakers are not allowed near them.
